As the QA Lead at Swift, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products used in healthcare settings. You will lead the QA team in designing and implementing testing strategies, overseeing the execution of test plans, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical technology that improves patient care.

How You'll Have An Impact
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies for software products in compliance with regulatory standards, including FDA and HIPAA regulations. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on testing best practices, methodologies, and tools, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and regulatory affairs, to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release criteria. 
  • Design, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, security, and usability of software applications. 
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not introduce new defects or regressions. 
  • Establish and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage, particularly for regression and integration testing. 
  • Monitor and analyze test results, defects, and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. 
  • Coordinate with external testing partners or vendors as necessary to augment internal testing efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
  • Experience in and comfort with customer-facing interactions. 
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability, quality, and adherence to coding standards and best practices. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to medical software quality assurance, and ensure that QA processes and practices remain current and effective. 


What You'll Bring To Swift
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on medical technology or healthcare software. 
  • Experience leading and managing QA teams, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members. 
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including manual and automated testing techniques. 
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues in software systems. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in testing activities. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
