ICANotes is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance our software development team's capacity for building and maintaining high-quality products. This role involves a blend of development and testing skills, focusing on creating, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools. The SDET will work closely with software developers and QA teams to build software test automation strategies and solutions, ensuring high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and robust automated test frameworks and tools.

• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure scalability and reusability.

• Collaborate with QA and Development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive automated test plans.

• Contribute to the development of test strategies and approaches for different software components.

• Translate manual test cases into automated tests using Typescript, ensuring full test coverage.

• Integrate automated Test suites into DevOps pipelines and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

• Document and report defects with clear and concise information, including steps to reproduce.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Computer Science or related is preferred.

• Understanding of development partners, principles, and best practices.

• At least 5 years of experience working as an SDET or software engineer role.

• Proven experience in crafting SQL statements for RDBMs to query and manipulate data.

• Proficiency in Typescript programming language.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in QA Automation with use of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., WebDriver.io, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).

• Healthcare experience.
