Clean Simple Eats is seeking a Warehousing & Logistics Manager to be responsible for maintaining an optimal relationship with our third-party logistics providers, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of inbound deliveries and order shipments, as well as high standards of service and operational efficiency. This position will report to our Operations Director and will require some travel if you are outside of the Dallas, Texas area.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• 3PL Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our third-party logistics provider.
  • Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance against KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Inbound Logistics Coordination:
  • Oversee inbound logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and 3PL partners to schedule and track shipments.
  • Manage inbound shipments between 3PL software and internal ERP software.
• Inventory Management:
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records upon receipt of goods.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations with ERP and 3PL inventory balances
  • Work with inventory control teams to reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Implement best practices for efficient inventory management. 
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on inbound logistics performance and 3PL efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and systems teams to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Liaise with finance teams to manage logistics costs and budgets.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols within logistics processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Shipment Quality Management:
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for inbound shipments.
  • Inspect and assess the quality of goods received from 3PL providers.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions for quality issues with 3PL partners.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and 3PL partners to ensure consistent quality standards are met.
  • Track and report on shipment quality metrics and take proactive steps to improve quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably with experience in 3PL management.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
• Netsuite experience is required, along with proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
